This article sought to present about Open Banking and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Open Banking is a system that allows the bank to share its customers’ information to suggest improvements and diff erent plans for the same. Thus, this study aimed to discuss the evolution or violation of LGPD in the context of Open Banking. The methodology used was the literature review, where diff erent databases (national and international) were consulted to analyze the scientifi c documents available on this subject, collecting information and compiling them. Thus, it is concluded the importance of authorizing or not the Bank to share data, to protect personal information.
