Relevance of the family in the process of inclusion of autistic children

Abstract

This article aims to review the literature in light of the relationship between families and the school in cases of autistic students. Performing an approach of typological models such as the theory of Overlapping Spheres by the author Epstein, permeating the Hornby Inverted Pyramids method and its results, making it possible to reflect on the real approximation between these methods in the inclusion of students with autism spectrum disorder. It is necessary to address the real possibilities of parents and families of autistic children in their regular school routine, making it possible, through these methods and results, to communicate the models mentioned above. Relating them to the difficult reality of exhaustion and stress in the lives of parents of autistic children due to the great demand required in their daily lives, referring to the different characteristics and peculiarities of the spectra.
