Abstract

In the text, an analysis of a topic of such historical importance will be sought, knowing that one of the jobs of historians is to remember historical facts and reinterpret them, based on this assumption, we could not forget to mention the social dramas by which the Northeastern migrants who came with the mission to cut rubber to help in the Federal Government’s war eff ort passed through the “Washington Accords”, and who became known as “Rubber Soldiers”. Our objective is to demystify the “rubber soldiers”, without, however, victimizing them, since these social and historical actors, as subjects, were extremely important for the history of Amazonas, Brazil and the world.
